The Unna Aksu (Sami for "Small ax") hunting ax from Karesuando with its exceedingly handy dimensions is a versatile tool for hunting and camping that can also be used like a small knife due to the sharply ground edge. This highly decorative piece of Swedish craftsmanship will also cut a good figure at home at the fireplace. The stainless steel head is hardened to 55 HRC. The birch burl handle has an inlaid emblem made of reindeer horn and an elk bone pommel. Includes a premium leather survival sheath, a sharpener and a fire starter. Shipped in a premium gift box.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.

Karesuando

Karesuando is a town in Lapland in the far north of Sweden. Located directly on the banks of the river Kaaresuvanto, which marks the border with Finland. In Karesuando, 250 km north of the Arctic Circle in the land of the elks, the reindeer, the midnight sun and the polar light, nordic knives are handmade according to old tradition. Karesuando has been a manufacturer since 1975 and since then has produced over one million blades. Only natural, traditional materials are used, such as oiled grains and reindeer horn as handle material, as well as selected cowhide for the sheaths.
