This true classic of the Solingen knifeware industry is a knife with a carbon blade and handle scales made from domestic plum wood. Older generations in particular rely on the excellent edge retention of the non-stainless blade of carbon steel C75. Moreover, the blades are easy to sharpen. The domestic plum wood used for the handle scales is hard, dense and close-grained with an even texture and striking color spectrum.

The heartwood shows hues of red and purple, which darken over time with UV exposure. Just like the carbon steel blade, which develops a unique patina as it ages, the plum wood is another clear sign that the knife's owner really used it. The knife series Boker Carbon Plum Wood was designed for people who cherish traditional values, who use their pocketknives as cutting tools on a regular basis and who enjoy seeing marks of wear and usage as reminders of the stories behind them. The more these knives are carried and used, the more charisma they develop. The fully handcrafted knives made by Boker Manufactory Solingen come with the historic etched blade motif, Boker Treebrand Classic, brass liners and a new version of the historic Boker tree symbol.

The full-sized Boker 20-20 is one of the most popular pocketknives in our product range, having accompanied generations of customers on the hunt or in the wilderness.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Perfekt

An der Verarbeitung gibt es nichts auszusetzen, der Slipjoint schön fest und trotzdem leicht zu öffnen, das Holz sehr schön ausgesucht und das Messer trotzt der Größe leicht und stabil, zudem sehr scharf. Besser kann man es nicht machen. Hervorragend!!

Schönes Messer

Das Messer ist sehr schön verarbeitet und weist absolut keine Mängel auf. Lässt sich angenehm öffnen und es ist super scharf. Insgesamt ein tolles Messer!
