The Kershaw Bel Air XL FDE M4 is a high-performance premium EDC and work knife built for demanding cutting tasks and hard-use applications. Proudly made in the USA, this larger-format folding knife combines rugged materials, advanced engineering, and a purpose-driven design to deliver exceptional reliability in everyday carry and professional environments. Its distinctive Flat Dark Earth (FDE) finish gives the knife a tactical-inspired appearance while maintaining a refined, modern look.

At the heart of the knife is a premium CPM M4 tool steel blade, engineered for users who require exceptional wear resistance, toughness, hardness, and edge retention. CPM M4 is renowned for its ability to withstand heavy cutting tasks while maintaining outstanding cutting performance over extended periods of use. The durable black PVD coating enhances blade protection and complements the knife’s rugged, mission-ready aesthetic.

The handle is crafted from FDE anodized aluminum, providing an ideal balance of lightweight strength, durability, and comfort. Its ergonomic shape and larger profile offer enhanced control and confidence during demanding cutting tasks, while still maintaining a practical carry profile suitable for daily use.

For smooth and effortless deployment, the Kershaw Bel Air XL FDE M4 utilizes manual KVT ball-bearing technology paired with dual thumb studs. The advanced DuraLock mechanism secures the blade with a robust crossbar lock, delivering dependable lockup and safe one-handed closing. The fully ambidextrous design ensures convenient operation for both right- and left-handed users.

A reversible deep-carry pocket clip allows discreet carry and can be configured for either side, while the integrated lanyard hole provides additional attachment and carry options.

Combining premium CPM M4 steel, a protective black PVD-coated blade, rugged FDE anodized aluminum construction, and advanced DuraLock technology, the Kershaw Bel Air XL FDE M4 is built to deliver outstanding durability, cutting power, and reliability when performance matters most.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
