Every year, many collectors wait with bated breath for the Boker Damascus Knife of the Year and the Magnum Collection. Many knives from both series are presented in display cases all over the world, fascinating knife fans with their wide range of designs, quality materials and perfect craftsmanship. This year, we are very proud to present the Collection 2020, the first knife of the respective Boker Plus collector's series. The impressive folder with a titanium framelock was designed by Lucas Burnley, whose many knives have been fixtures in our product range for many years. The young knifemaker from Massachusetts began his career in 2003, combining clear, modern lines with tactical origins.

The sturdy blade of the Boker Plus Collection 2020 consists of powder-metallurgical M390, a modern performance steel with excellent stability and corrosion-resistance. It has a decorative ricasso and a light two-tone finish and is easy to handle thanks to its ball bearings and flipper. The ergonomic handle is 3D-milled out of titanium with a modern inlay of wild carbon fiber. The fluted thumb rest and large spacer make the knife safer to use. A lanyard hole and detachable clip (tip-up) complete the design of the first Boker Plus Knife of the Year, limited to 500 pieces worldwide. Comes with a high-quality nylon sheath and certificate of authenticity.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Perfektes Full-size Collection-Knife

Als Burnley-Fan war das Messer ein must-have. Die Verarbeitung und Materialauswahl erinnert eher an ein Custom Messer als an ein (limitiertes) Serienmodell. Bin absolut begeistert!

Lucas Burnley

Lucas Burnley from Oregon has been a full-time custom knifemaker and designer since 2003. His distinctive knives blend clean, modern lines with tactical origins - a style Lucas identifies as Post-Tactical. His designs for fixed blades and pocket knives are both playful and sophisticated and often incorporate subtle neo-Japanese elements. Above all he believes that utility shouldn't come at the cost of beauty. In addition to Pocketknives and handy Fixed Blades, he also designs his own accessories.

In close cooperation with renowned international designers we develop and test modern utility knives and gentleman pocket knives with a stylish appearance as well as functional tactical knives for the professional user. Boker Plus knives are innovative in terms of function and design, as well as guaranteed for everyday use. Conception, design and construction are carried out in Solingen, and production takes place in Europe, the USA and Asia.
