Leimkueller Magnum Collection 2026 - For four generations, the Leimkueller family of Solingen—Germany’s legendary city of blades—has preserved the art of fine knife making with uncompromising dedication. Free from haste, the family-run workshop relies on time-honored manufacturing techniques and meticulous attention to detail, pursuing a single goal: exceptional quality and precision.
In place of CNC machines and computer-controlled processes, essential steps such as rough grinding, fine grinding, polishing, and even the crafting of the perfectly fitted leather sheath are performed entirely by hand. For the Magnum Collection 2026, strictly limited to just 1,999 pieces worldwide, knife maker Matthias Leimküller has combined well-guarded family knowledge with Magnum's manufacturing expertise, as well as the passion that transforms an exquisite knife into an item with an irresistible presence and radiance. While primarily intended for the display cases of discerning collectors, outdoor enthusiasts, campers, farmers, and experienced users alike will appreciate its performance as a robust belt knife for outdoor and hunting applications.
The fixed drop-point blade features an elegant satin finish and is crafted from Boker’s exclusive BKR-10 steel. This powder-metallurgical alloy delivers an exceptional balance of elements, resulting in a rust-resistant steel with outstanding corrosion resistance and high hardness. Its elevated carbon and chromium content, enhanced by cobalt, ensures long-lasting durability and cutting performance. Carving, slicing, and cutting tasks are executed with confidence thanks to the integrated guard with finger protection, the ergonomically shaped, slip-resistant leather handle, and the harmoniously contoured pommel.
The classic utility knife is accompanied by a two-tone leather sheath with belt loop, offering secure and convenient carry. The Magnum Collection embossing on the black-accented section of the sheath mirrors the blade logo, completing the refined overall aesthetic.
For presentation and safekeeping, the knife is delivered in a premium wooden display box and includes a certificate of authenticity.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
