Developed in cooperation with young knifemaker Alex Kremer and Daily Customs, the Boker Daily Knives AK1 is a compact fixed blade knife designed for everyday carry. Built with uncompromising functionality in mind, it combines minimal dimensions, premium materials, and a well-thought-out construction for daily use.
Born in Fulda, Germany, in 1993, Alex Kremer began making knives at the age of 18. His design language is strongly influenced by extensive travels through Scandinavia, reflected in the AK1’s clean, functional, and purpose-driven design. The AK1 Drop Point embodies this philosophy: minimalistic, robust, and versatile.
The drop point blade made from powder metallurgical MagnaCut steel (62 HRC ±1) offers excellent edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. This makes the fixed blade knife perfectly suited for precise everyday cutting tasks, from opening packages to detailed work on the go.
The removable handle scales made from blue anodized aluminum provide a modern appearance, low weight, and comfortable ergonomics. Using the included Torx key, the scales can be easily removed and replaced with alternative handle options developed together with Daily Customs, allowing the knife to be adapted to personal preferences at any time.
A standout feature is the reversible lanyard hole at the end of the handle. When the scales are removed, it can be rotated and fully concealed within the handle, resulting in a particularly slim and discreet profile.
Handcrafted at the Boker Manufactory in Solingen, Germany, the Boker Daily Knives AK1 Drop Point MagnaCut Blue represents outstanding craftsmanship and quality “Made in Germany.” The included premium leather sheath with belt clip ensures secure, comfortable, and discreet carry for everyday use.
A fixed blade EDC knife for those who value quality, modularity, and timeless design.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
