A classic favorite is returning to the Helle lineup. The Futura was originally launched in 2002, and quickly became popular due to its beautiful lines and functional drop-point blade. The knife was designed by German Helle fan Herman Wolf, who envisioned it as a modern Scandinavian utility knife that would perform well both as a camping knife and a hunting knife. The distinct finger grove provides a secure grip, while the H3LS drop-point blade provides excellent balance between cutting power and control. The tanned leather sheath features a snap button that wraps around the handle., securing the knife in the sheath while also displaying the beautiful curly birch handle.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Helle

It all began in 1932, when brothers Steinar and Sigmund Helle turned their passion into a profession in a small forge on their family farm in the picturesque village of Holmedal on the breathtaking west coast of Norway. Inspired by their father, the village blacksmith, they set about designing knives that perfectly combine form and function. Today, their legacy lives on as their grandchildren continue to work with skilled local craftsmen in the same village. Surrounded by majestic mountains and deep fjords, the Helle team is still driven by the same mission: To make knives that not only work, but also connect with the beauty of nature.
