This new addresses the many customer requests for a traditional tanto that many collectors wanted to complete their collection. A tanto was typically carried in combination with a katana. All tantos in this series are shipped with a traditional wooden sheath and a fabric bag for storage or for safe transportation. The golden dragon seems humble yet impressive at the same time. The 1045 carbon steel blade has a fine satin finish with a decorative grind that features the traditional hardening line. The elaborately designed tsuba creates a special appeal. The cotton-wrapped hilt, the genuine ray skin, and the golden-colored menuki round out the dignified appearance.
