KALS-74 Tanto Anniversary

Information:
Since 31st October 2024, there has been a general ban on the handling and possession of switchblade knives of all kinds in Germany. They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. Consequently,the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest.

General Mikhail Kalashnikov who died in 2013 was a long-time friend of ours and the Kalashnikov knives have become a fixture of our program over the years. For the 70th anniversary of the KALS-47 assault rifle we thus designed an especially high-quality anniversary edition for all fans and collectors of this knife as well as demanding users. The blades of the anniversary model are made of the powder metallurgical steel CTS-XHP which stands out sue to its excellent edge retention. The fine satining of the blade and the anniversary logo, which emulates the sight of the Kalashnikov, underline the exclusivity of this line. The aluminum handle in gun metal grey adds a special accent and look. Limited to 1,500 units world-wide.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
