Custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley is a seasoned design partner for Boker. The Boker Kihon combines Asian elements with features of a modern utility and tactical knife. The flat profile of framelock construction also makes the knife very comfortable to carry. The Tanto version highlights the Asian components even more, since the blade is shaped more like the classic Japanese Tanto than the angular American Tanto. The handle is adorned with a Japanese sun, which adds a classic element. The stainless steel framelock and blade with ball bearings are fully stonewashed. The blade is made of D2.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Super Preis Leistungsverhältnis

Was dieses Messer so besonders macht ist der Hinderer überdehnungsschutz für den frameblock der die Klinge bombenfest verschließt das Messer ist quasi unverwüstlich und unanfällig für Störungen es ist wirklich mit anderen Messern aus dieser Reihe nicht zu vergleichen dieses Setup mit einer s35vn Klinge und Titan mit einer schönen Fräsung und nimm Backspacer mit schönen Akzenten hätte Böker dieses Messer meilenweit auf Platz eins in dieser Linie bringen können

Lucas Burnley

Lucas Burnley from Oregon has been a full-time custom knifemaker and designer since 2003. His distinctive knives blend clean, modern lines with tactical origins - a style Lucas identifies as Post-Tactical. His designs for fixed blades and pocket knives are both playful and sophisticated and often incorporate subtle neo-Japanese elements.
