The Civivi Kukei is a compact EDC folding knife that combines minimalist design with practical functionality. Designed by Tashi Bharucha, this modern knife stands out with its clean lines, premium materials, and highly compact construction. Its lightweight build and slim profile make the Kukei an excellent everyday carry option for users who prefer a small yet capable folding knife.

The blade is crafted from Nitro-V steel, offering a balanced combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness. This modern blade steel is well regarded for its reliable everyday performance and ease of maintenance. The precise flat grind enhances cutting efficiency, while the sheepsfoot blade shape provides a straight cutting edge and a safe, rounded tip for controlled and precise cutting tasks.

The handle is made from powder pink G10, giving the knife a distinctive and modern appearance. G10 is a durable composite material valued for its strength, lightweight properties, and resistance to wear. The textured surface also enhances grip, ensuring secure handling during everyday use.

The blade opens smoothly via a front flipper mechanism, allowing quick and intuitive deployment. The pivot runs on caged ceramic ball bearings, providing exceptionally smooth and controlled blade action. A sturdy liner lock keeps the blade securely in place during use and contributes to the knife’s reliable construction.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
