The Boker Plus Kwaiken Flipper by Lucas Burnley is probably one of the most influential designs of the 21st century. With its clean and utilitarian form, the modern pocket knife has become a true icon. The clean lines and slim design, which still houses the complete blade when closed, is absolutely unique. It is the further development of his well-known Burnley Kwaiken Classic - a cord-wrapped neo-Japanese fixed blade. The flipper ensures intuitive operation and additional safety, while the Linerlock securely locks the narrow blade made of VG-10. Until recently, the so-called duplex grind, with its two different grinding planes, was mainly reserved for expensive custom knives. The Kwaiken Duplex offers this unique grind as a production knife, and is a real treat for the many fans of this series. With a pocket clip for easy carry. The tactical appeal is underlined by the G10 scales, which give the knife a very special appearance. The thin construction and exclusive materials make the Kwaiken into a true crossover between Gentlemen Folder and Tactical Knife. With removable clip (tip-up).

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Lucas Burnley

Lucas Burnley from Oregon has been a full-time custom knifemaker and designer since 2003. His distinctive knives blend clean, modern lines with tactical origins - a style Lucas identifies as Post-Tactical. His designs for fixed blades and pocket knives are both playful and sophisticated and often incorporate subtle neo-Japanese elements. Boker Plus knives are innovative in terms of function and design, as well as guaranteed for everyday use.
