Unlike the Kwaiken Flipper, the Boker Plus Kwaiken Folder is opened with a thumb stud. With its clear and practical shape, this modern pocket knife has become a true icon. The clean lines and slim design, which still holds the complete blade when closed, is absolutely unique. It is a further development of the famous Burnley Kwaiken Classic, also in neo-Japanese style. The linerlock locks the narrow, ball-bearing blade made of AUS-8 securely. The practical claim of this version is underlined by the green Micarta scales, which make the knife particularly non-slip. The slim construction and the exclusive material make the Kwaiken a noble crossover between gentleman folder and tactical knife. With removable clip (tip-up).

PLEASE NOTE: Disassembly of this item can disable the IKBS system. As our warranty policy states, disassembly (of any of our products) voids the warranty.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Lucas Burnley

Lucas Burnley from Oregon has been a full-time custom knifemaker and designer since 2003. His distinctive knives blend clean, modern lines with tactical origins - a style Lucas identifies as Post-Tactical. His designs for fixed blades and pocket knives are both playful and sophisticated and often incorporate subtle neo-Japanese elements. Boker Plus knives are innovative in terms of function and design, as well as guaranteed for everyday use. Conception, design and construction are carried out in Solingen, and production takes place in Europe, the USA and Asia.
