The Native Chief Lightweight is about one-fifth lighter than the G10 handle variant and features green, fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) handle scales with extremely grippy bi-directional texturing. These features made it an ideal candidate for Spyderco's remarkable Salt series. The Native Chief Lightweight Salt impresses with a serrated blade made of corrosion-resistant LC200N steel, which is NASA's first choice for ball bearings in spacecraft. The refreshing green handle without liner houses the robust back lock mechanism for locking and a four-way convertible clip.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
