In the USA, the knives of the Recon 1 series already enjoy great popularity among the military, police, rescue forces and, more recently, increasingly among civilians. In the world of tactical knives, they set new standards and have rightly earned their reliable and strong reputation. The Recon 1 knives are available in different blade lengths. When they were designed, each of their components was engineered for durability and performance. All models in this multi-faceted collection are equipped with Cold Steel's world-renowned Tri-Ad locking mechanism, which provides optimal protection even in the most adverse conditions. The all-black Recon 1 features a powder metallurgy CPM-S-35VN tanto blade, thumb stud and textured G10 handle with convertible tip-up pocket clip and lanyard loop.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
