The Spyderco Skoli is a versatile fixed-blade knife designed for outdoor adventure, camping, hunting, and demanding utility tasks. Created by renowned custom knifemaker Kevin Smock, this rugged fixed blade combines practical ergonomics, modern materials, and dependable cutting performance in a highly functional all-purpose design. Drawing from Smock’s extensive hunting and outdoor experience, the Skoli emphasizes comfort, grip security, and exceptional blade control in real-world conditions.

The stonewashed blade is crafted from 9Cr18MoV stainless steel, delivering an excellent balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and durability. Its modified sheepfoot blade profile provides a highly controllable tip and versatile cutting capability for precision tasks, outdoor work, and heavy-duty utility use. The flat grind enhances slicing efficiency while maintaining excellent structural strength for demanding applications. The full-tang construction further reinforces the knife’s durability and reliability during intensive use.

The ergonomically contoured G10 handle scales feature a precision-machined checkered texture pattern that provides outstanding grip security even in wet or challenging environments. A single front quillon enhances hand protection and control, while strategically placed jimping on the spine improves traction and handling during detailed or forceful cutting tasks. The ergonomic handle shape also supports comfortable long-term use in the field.

The Skoli includes a custom-molded Boltaron sheath with a secure snap-fit retention system and a versatile G-Clip mount. The adjustable mounting system supports multiple carry angles on the belt or inside the waistband for flexible everyday and outdoor carry options. Combining rugged full-tang construction, modern materials, and field-proven functionality, the Spyderco Skoli is a dependable fixed blade for outdoor adventures, hunting, camping, and professional applications.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
