Despite the 10.5 cm long spear point blade with 3.7 mm thickness the knife is still quite flat and can be carried conveniently and comfortably in a pocket. Even here, the Viper own "advanced lockback" is used, an advancement of the classic back spring locking that does not require a lower spring. Instead, there are two permanent wire springs on the left and right located below the bolsters, which create the necessary spring pressure. In this way double safety is ensured, for example if in the unlikely event one of the springs should break, the second spring would still provide a locking function.
