The extremely slim Boker Plus Urban Trapper by Brad Zinker has quickly become one of the most popular gentleman's knives in our range and in this innovative flipjoint version combines the popular flipper opening with a sophisticated slipjoint mechanism. The flat-ground blade made of VG-10 with an impressive hairline finish and is discreetly held in place by a detent ball after opening. Although the small ball effectively prevents the ball-bearing blade from springing back unintentionally, the resistance can be easily overcome when closing the knife by hand. This means that the knife can be carried in public without any problems.

The extremely flat and very slim design make the Urban Trapper an incomparable pocket knife for the upmarket. The lightweight handle made of titanium is supplied with scales made of classy cocobolo wood, which on the one hand provide a somewhat fuller grip feeling, and on the other hand offer a special visual appeal. The decorative precious wood is hard and heavy and is easy to handle when dried. Supplied with a removable deep-carry clip (tip-up/r) made of titanium and a high-quality nylon case for storage.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Qualitativ hochwertige Materialien und ein leichtes Gentleman Taschenmesser

Von den Materialien und mit der Verarbeitung des Messers bin höchst zufrieden. Ein kleines Manko gibt es trotzdem. Die Arretierung der Klinge durch den Slipjoint (Detent - Ball) hätte doch um einiges sicherer verschließen müssen. Beim Schärfen des Messers über einen Wetzstahl verbirgt die Gefahr, dass das Messer beim Ziehen über den Wetzstahl einklappen kann. Ein abziehen über einen Lederriemen ist noch kritischer. Hier muss die Klinge mit dem Finger am Flipper zurückgehalten werden.
