The situation: confusing, hectic. The adrenalin: uncontrolled. The reaction: crucial. In emergency situations, a clear mind, confidence in your own abilities and the right equipment are essential. The Boker Plus Utility OTF rescue tool always keeps a cool head, even in tricky situations, so that you remain in control of the situation at all times. Inspired by the tried-and-tested Boker Plus and Magnum rescue knives, this clever emergency tool combines versatility with high adaptability, reliability and intuitive operation like no other. Equipped with the popular OTF (out the front) mechanism familiar from switchblade knives, when the non-slip thumb slide on the top of the tool is pressed, the blade holder snaps out of the front of the handle with powerful dynamics and back in again when it is pressed again. The hooked blade used is rounded at the front end and sharpened on the inside. In the event of an accident, this ensures that clothing and belts can be reliably cut through without injuring the victim. Should the blade lose its sharpness or become damaged, it can be replaced in no time at all and secured in the blade holder. The black handle made of high-strength aluminium promises maximum stability, combining a tidy appearance with uncompromising functionality. Jimpings at neuralgic points provide an exceptional grip, while the glass breaker at the end of the handle can save lives in an emergency. The German Federal Office of Criminal Investigation (BKA) shares this view and categorises the Boker Plus Utility OTF as a rescue tool that is legal to own and can be carried freely in public in Germany, as it does not meet the usual weapons and prohibition criteria within the meaning of the German Weapons Act (WaffG) according to the assessment notice (file number SO13-5164.01-Z-558). Supplied with a tip-up clip (r) for discreet deep carry and a stainless-steel interchangeable blade with a rescue hook. Boker Plus Utility OTF - RescUtility in its purest form!

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Überraschend gute Qualität, super solides OTF, knackiger Auswurf, kein Spiel im Knopf

Siehe Überschrift. Überrascht von der Qualität. Sehr passender Formfaktor für kleine Hände, bei größeren könnte es eng werden. Gute OTFs sind leider teuer. Der Preis ist relativ dazu noch okay.
