The robust Boker Plus Yokai convinces as a reliable combat knife with an aggressive Tanto blade and a non-slip handle. The tactical pocket knife was designed by Alessandra De Santis aka Hydra Design, a division of Hydra Armaments which is a family-owned company from northern Italy specializing in weapon accessories and tactical equipment. The experienced knife enthusiast, has been collecting, testing and comparing countless knives since the age of 14 and is the author of numerous reports and articles published in a wide variety of trade magazines. As an industrial chemist by profession, she can draw on a wide range of expertise in steels and materials. She is also a firearms enthusiast and a Filipino Martial Arts practitioner.

Her modern designs combine her experience from all these fields and make the Yokai an absolutely exceptional knife. The modified Tanto blade made of D2 has a resistant black coating, is opened by a flipper and is reliably secured by a sturdy linerlock. The handle scales, textured in a modern honeycomb pattern, fit perfectly in the hand even in bad weather, and the ribbed thumb ramp and ergonomic index finger recess provide additional grip. The red aluminum spacer provides a colourful accent. With lanyard hole, glass breaker and practical clip (tip-up/r). Supplied in a high-quality nylon case for storage.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Excellent EDC knife.

Un excellent EDC, pratique et léger.

Hervorragendes Messer, habe es gekauft kurz nachdem es auf den Markt kam und seid dem jeden Tag als EDC in Nutzung. Farbe ist natürlich nicht mehr die satteste aber dennoch gibt es keine Blank geriebene Stellen. Der Lack ist der Nutzung entsprechend Top erhalten, lediglich leicht ausgeblichen. Messer musste nur selten geschärft werden, trotz starker und regelmäßiger Nutzung (z.B. Kabel Abisolieren, Schrauben ausdrehen und Butterbrote schmieren). Auch am heutigen Tag öffnet sich das Messer Butterweich ohne zu Hakeln o.ä. Klinge wackelt nach Jahrelanger Nutzung nur minimal, ohne einmal die Befestigungsschrauben nachgezogen zu haben. Auch die Schneide weißt keinerlei Scharten auf.

Einzigartig

Als erstes muss ich sagen das die Lieferung auf Nachnahme unglaublich schnell ging. (Grade mal zwei Tage) Die Verarbeitung des Messers ist hochwertiger als ich es mir hätte erträumen können. Die Klinge ist unfassbar scharf (ist konkurrenzfähig gegenüber einem Rasiermesser) und sehr leichtgängig. Alles in allem ein Traum in Messer Form.

Echt geiles Teil / really nice Knife

Optisch ist es sehr ansprechend, vor allem die Griffschalen. Fasst sich sehr gut an. Der Flipper ist so angelegt, dass man gut flippen kann und schützt gleichzeitig davor das die Hand in die Klinge rutscht. Das ganze Messer ist sowohl im eingeklappten als auch im ausgeklappten Zustand extrem ergonomisch. Es ist echt schade das man es in Deutschland nicht ohne weiters mitführen darf.
Visually it is very appealing, especially the handle scales. Feels very good to the touch. The flipper is designed so that you can flip well and at the same time protects against the hand slipping into the blade. The whole knife is extremely ergonomic both when folded and unfolded.

In close cooperation with renowned international designers we develop and test modern utility knives and gentleman pocket knives with a stylish appearance as well as functional tactical knives for the professional user. Boker Plus knives are innovative in terms of function and design, as well as guaranteed for everyday use. Conception, design and construction are carried out in Solingen, and production takes place in Europe, the USA and Asia.
