The Boker Boxer EDC by Raphaël Durand combines state-of-the-art materials with a flat, self-supporting construction without liner and bolster. As a lightweight slipjoint pocket knife it is up to any task in everyday use. It is equipped with a stonewash blade made of Böhler powder metallurgical M390, which is equipped with a generous ricasso and a 90° stop. The modern high-performance steel with the highest wear resistance is ice-hardened to 61 HRC. The decorative brass rivets form a colourful contrast to the three-dimensionally milled and pleasantly contoured handle scales made of black Canvas Micarta. The lanyard hole is reinforced with a brass bush. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufacture Solingen.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.

Mein Lieblingsmesser

Das Messer ist von Design, Verarbeitung und Funktion perfekt und hat eine Premiumklinge.
Es ist so schön und fühlt sich so gut an, daß man es immer wieder in die Hand nehmen muss.
Dieses Messer zu besitzen ist eine Freude.

Das beste Messer, dass ich je hatte!

Was soll ich sagen, es ist offensichtlich kein Messer, welches man im Wald zum spalten dicker Hölzer benutzt. Es ist ein EDC, ein wunderschönes EDC, die Klinge fühlt sich durch das Finish so weich an, das Mircarta ist wunderschön verarbeitet, es handelt sich um ein rundum wunderschönes Werkzeug, welches den perfekten täglichen Begleiter widerspiegelt.
Dann der Stahl... Auf 61 HRC gehärteter M390 Stahl.
Dieser außerordentliche "Superstahl" von Böhler wurde in Messerforen als der "Heilige Grahl und den Messerstählen" bezeichnet. Sicherlich kann man das nicht per se sagen, es gibt Stähle, die noch schnitthaltiger, rostfreier und definitiv robuster sind.
ABER dieser Stahl zählt richtig gehärtet zu den besten verfügbaren Messerstählen überhaupt und hat lange Zeit für viele Kenner den Thron besetzt. Für mich immer noch der beste Allround-Stahl, da er neben seinen hervorragenden Eigenschaften wie Schnitthaltigkeit etc. ebenso sehr rostträge ist.
Kurzum: man bekommt für sein Geld ein wunderschönes Messer für den täglichen, kleinen Bedarf, welches mit einem, wenn nicht sogar mit dem besten Allround-Stahl für Folder ausgestattet ist.
