The great success of the models with RWL-34 blade steel prompted us to design a high-end version. While the manufacturer, Fat Carbon had already surprised us time and again with composite patterns that we could not have imagined before, the new material Fat Carbon Space-Coral Silver sets a completely new accent. The cross-section of the pattern is rotated by 90° and the even spacing of the fine lines are arranged in ingeniously ordered chaos.
This material highlight was considered just good enough for us to use it as handle scales for the blade and tang made of stainless Damascus by Chad Nichols in the Boomerang pattern. This creates a charming visual interplay between the materials, which also both have the best mechanical properties in their respective functions.
The handle scales can be removed effortlessly with the included Torx key, so that the elaborately crafted lanyard hole at the end of the handle can be turned around when the handle scales are removed and optionally disappear into the handle. Supplied with a high-quality black leather sheath, which has a sewn-in Ulticlip and can be conveniently attached to the hem of the pocket thanks to the locking spring clip. This allows the Boker AK1 Damascus to be drawn effortlessly while the sheath is reliably held in place by the Ulticlip. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen.
Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
