Mastery meets class, temperament meets passion, form meets perfection—the Boker Mini Redencion 42a by Ramon Chaves is a true masterpiece of knife craftsmanship. It combines exceptional aesthetics with uncompromising functionality, embodying everything that defines the work of the renowned American knifemaker.
Ramon Chaves, a designer of Mexican heritage, is known for his relentless passion and dedication to knife making. After receiving a Boker Tree Brand Slipjoint knife from his father, his love for knives grew, eventually leading him to found his own brand in 2010. The Mini Redencion 42a perfectly reflects Chaves’ philosophy: durability, robustness, and extraordinary workmanship.
The Mini Redencion 42a features a Droppoint blade made from CPM MagnaCut (61 HRC), a powder-metallurgical steel known for outstanding edge retention, hardness, corrosion resistance, and toughness. Decorative false edges and jimping on the spine provide both aesthetic beauty and enhanced control. The ergonomic matte black aluminum handle ensures excellent grip and handling for any task.
The Button Lock allows safe and reliable two-hand operation, with the push button controlling both opening and closing of the blade. Unlike automatic variants, a wave spring keeps the blade under constant tension, requiring deliberate hand force to open and close.
Signature features such as the Chaves skull clip made of titanium, depicting the Mexican deity Santa Muerte, and the chili-red backspacer with a hidden lanyard hole create striking accents, making this knife a true statement piece.
The Boker Mini Redencion 42a is delivered in a premium felt pouch, highlighting the knife’s exclusive character. Handcrafted in the Boker Solingen manufactory.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
