Since 31st October 2024, there has been a general ban on the handling and possession of switchblade knives of all kinds in Germany. They are now prohibited objects and the possession thereof is a criminal offence. The possession of certain switchblade knives is prohibited in accordance with Annex 2 to the German Weapons law, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, and only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest necessitating one-handed use (such as due to the loss of an arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or use them in connection with professional activities (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sports (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. Consequently,the sale is limited only to authorized individuals. Please verify before placing an order whether you possess such a legitimate interest.


Whether the European Black Widow has been a source of inspiration for the Boker Plus Karakurt remains the secret of Danish knifemaker Jesper Voxnaes. However, there are numerous indications that point to the black poisonous spider. The biting Clippoint blade made of 154CM with black Ceracote coating acts from the ambush and snaps shut mercilessly immediately after pressing the push button. The high-quality stainless steel is convincing with a hardness of 58 to 59 HRC. Preferred 'prey' includes the diverse cutting tasks of everyday life, which the pocket knife easily 'catches' because of its completely black camouflage. The handle made of anodised 6061-T6 aluminium is ergonomically shaped and sits securely in the hand, even for difficult tasks. The wave-shaped serrations on the underside promise additional grip. The knife also irritates its 'prey' with a convertible clip (tip-up/l-r) and a practical lanyard hole. Developed in collaboration with the automatic knives specialist Hogue, the Karakurt is made in the USA and impresses with perfect workmanship. With high-quality nylon case for storage.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.
