Since the 1980s, Cold Steel has been regarded as an expert for modern tanto knives that are second to none. In all the Tantos in this series, the longitudinally ground blade mirror has visible grinding lines and forms a beautiful contrast to the hollow-ground, matt satin-finished primary bevel of the VG-10 San Mai blade. This further enhances the unique look of the fixed blade and is a perfect example of state-of-the-art sharpening technology. The Kray-Ex handle with flattened oval profile ensures a secure grip in any position. Another feature worth mentioning here is the tapered solid steel pommel, designed by Lynn C. Thompson, which can serve as an effective striking piece in an emergency. Each Tanto knife in the San Mai series comes with a strong, high-quality and durable Secure-Ex sheath.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
