When participating in the 3rd season of the YouTube success format 7 vs. Wild, in which seven teams have to survive in the wilderness with self-selected equipment, the team "Naturensöhne" relies on another knife from Boker.

Gerrit and Andy appreciate the numerous functions that the compact multifunctional pocket knife Boker Plus Naturensöhne MK. II combines.

The equipment of this special model was tailored exactly to the ideas and wishes of the two Berliners, so that only the essential tools for the 14-day stay in Canada are included.

The main blade is the perfect addition to the robust one for fine cutting tasks fixed knife. Thanks to the hollow grind, the blade made of Swedish Sandvik steel 12C27 is suitable for all finer cutting and carving work, but also for gutting fish, for example when building shelters and co. and, if necessary, the turning of hexagon screws and union nuts. After all, no one knows which situations and objects the participants will encounter as tools. The practical wood saw cuts branches with a clean cut; effortlessly and gently. The saw is also suitable for cutting through long bones, deer horn and plastic due to the steel quality and tooth position. Thanks to the included sewing/drilling awl, you can drill holes in wood, bone, deer horn and plastic, pierce encrusted knots, poke holes in leather and work on or scratch out cracks and grooves.

Discreetly hidden in the two black G10 scales , a plastic toothpick ensures the necessary outdoor hygiene. The tweezers on the opposite side remove thorns, splinters and the like.

Glass breakers and a practical deep-carry pocket clip are of course standard components of every tech tool.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Das perfekte Messer

Das Böker Naturensöhne MKII ist eine abgespeckte Version vom Böker Tech Tool City 5. Weniger Funktionen aber dafür mit einer Größe das man es wirklich jeden Tag dabei haben kann und möchte. Die Funktionen die es hat sind durchdacht und einfach top! Die Klinge ist super, lässt sich sehr scharf schleifen und hält die schärfe auch lange. Einmal hab ich die Klinge dazu verwendet mich unterwegs zu rasieren als mir aufgefallen ist dass ich eine kleine Stelle übersehen hatte. Die Zange ist eine Wucht! Mir war nicht bewusst in wie vielen Situationen eine kleine Zange hilfreich sein kann. Sei es eine Mutter/Schraube zu lockern, einen kleinen Nagel zu halten um sich nicht auf die Finger zu klopfen oder um einen festen Knoten zu lösen. Viele Taschenmesser kommen mit einer Pinzette aber diese Messer kommt mit einer Pinzette die man wirklich als solche verwenden kann. Die Säge ist ebenfalls schneidfreudig und kleine Äste oder Kunststoffteile sind kein Problem.
Das einzige Manko an diesem Messer ist, dass ich mit keinem anderen meiner tollen Messer aus dem Haus gehen will weil das Naturensöhne MKII mittlerweile seinen fixen Platz in meiner Hosentasche gefunden hat.

Großartiges Arbeitsmesser mit einer super schneidfreudigen Klinge und einer der besten Pinzetten die ich an einem Taschenmesser bisher hatte (und mir bei den restlichen Böker-Taschenmessern auch wünschen würde).
