Like many classic French pocket knives, the Boker Plus Slack by Raphaël Durand is based on the traditional Navaja from the Mediterranean region. However, Raphaël Durand transforms this concept into a modern design. The slender handle of the gentleman's knife features scales made of G10 to cover the stainless steel plates underneath. Generous bore holes in the plates decrease the weight and make it even more comfortable. The blade of this slip joint knife is crafted of VG-10 and was given a refined horizontal satin finish. With lanyard hole and without clip.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

Tolles Messer

Das Slack ist ein wirklich schönes, elegantes aber auch cooles Taschenmesser. Eben typisch Raphael Durand Design. Die Federspannung ist wirklich stark. Für ein Slipjoint wirklich toll. Das Slack kam super scharf geschliffen an. Im Lieferumfang ist sogar noch ein passendes Lederetui enthalten. Das Slack passt mit samt Etui wirklich gut in jede Hosentasche ohne zu stören. Trotz der Klingengröße von 8,2mm ist es mit 66g so leicht, dass man es beim Tragen nicht bemerkt. Die G 10 Schalen gefallen in Natura noch besser als auf den Fotos.

Elegant und wertig

Ich bin sehr zufrieden,das Slack ist minimalistisch edel und alltagstauglich(42a).Jede Linie und Schraube ist genau am rechten Ort,ein Augenschmaus,die Feder hält absolut vertrauenerweckend,da klappt nichts unbeabsichtigt zu!Das Schliessen geht für mich am besten wenn ich beidhändig das Messer umgreife um den ersten Druck zu überwinden,nächstes Drittel Finger aus dem Weg,dann zuklappen.Der Schliff ist i.O.,da geht noch bischen,alles kein Problem.Mir gefällt der Stil extrem gut,nobles Understatement,alles wie aus einem Guss. Elegantes und 42a konformes Zweihandmesser

Das Slack ist mein Lieblingsmesser wenn es darum geht unterwegs etwas Obst etc. zu schneiden. Es ist die perfekte optische Kombination aus Moderne und Tradition. Ohne einen Nagelhau muss das Öffnen und besonders das Schließen gekonnt sein. Also bitte nicht ahnungslose Personen überlassen, es gibt nur einen einzigen Stop (bei 90 Grad). Schön wäre noch ein passendes Etui. Bin aber mehr als zufrieden und für die gebotene Qualität ist das Messer eigentlich sehr günstig.
