John Kubasek is well known for his unusual designs and often extremely flat builds. The Boker Plus Slyde-R follows this concept, surprising with a floating blade that is unlocked with a button and pushed out of the front of the handle. The unusual knife is locked with the same button, which makes it very easy and intuitive to handle. The satinized blade consists of 440C and has a one-sided grind to fit perfectly into the G10 handle. Comes with a ball chain. Without clip.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

John Kubasek

American knifemaker John Kubasek from Massachusetts has been making his own knives since 1988 and was able to draw on his many years of experience in the knife industry at that time. After designing fixed blades in the first years of his self-employment, he focused on innovative pocket knives with unusual mechanisms and shapes later. He is a member of the American Knifemakers Guild and internationally known for his creative designs such as the Credit Card Knife or the practical Dog Tag Knife.

In close cooperation with renowned international designers we develop and test modern utility knives and gentleman pocket knives with a stylish appearance as well as functional tactical knives for the professional user. Boker Plus knives are innovative in terms of function and design, as well as guaranteed for everyday use. Conception, design and construction are carried out in Solingen, and production takes place in Europe, the USA and Asia.
