With the Boker Camp Knife, one of the forefathers of all modern multi-purpose pocket knives, our history began in the year 1869. After almost 150 years of successful market presence, the time came to convert this proven concept into a modern knife. The modernized construction, which is based on solid steel liners, is embedded in two contoured handle scales, made out of lightweight carbon fiber. The Swedish Sandvik 12C27 steel, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-60 HRC, provides outstanding edge retention of the hollow ground blade. The high quality manufacturing, with a smooth blade action and optimized operability, are proof of the premium quality of our Boker Plus Tech Tools. Tools: glass-breaker, screwdriver with bottle opener and wire stripper, small serrated blade with screwdriver tip, corkscrew, foldable lanyard hole, scissors, punch/awl, pliers, wood saw, pocket clip.

Warning and safety information:
Cut injuries: The most common danger when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, resulting in uncontrolled movements that can cause injuries.
Injuries due to falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Blunt knives: Blunt knives pose a greater risk of injury as they require more force and can slip more easily. Knives should therefore be properly sharpened regularly.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks for which it is not intended (e.g. as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade, but also lead to accidents.

mein erstes, aber nicht mein Letztes

Nachdem ich ein Video über dieses Messer Tool sah war ich als Victorinox Sammler hell auf begeistert. Die Verarbeitung, trotz Herstellung in Asien, braucht sich Hinter Victorinox nicht zu verstecken. Mein Fazit lautet Top Tool

It deserves a file, possibly with one side diamond coated.
And a liner lock blade. :-)

Solides Tool mit kleinen Schwächen

Wertiges Taschenmesser in edler Carbonoptik aus gutem Stahl und mit vielen nützlichen Funktionen. Leider haben sich aber auch kleine Schwächen eingeschlichen. Der Niet, der jeweils die beiden Hälften der Zange und der Schere verbindet hat im Auslieferungszustand ein zu großes Spiel. Das führt insbesondere bei der Schere dazu, dass dünne Materialien zwischen den Schneiden eingeklemmt und nicht geschnittenen werden. Ein leichtes nachsetzen der Niete mit einem entsprechenden Dorn und einem kleinen Hammer schaffen hier entsprechend Abhilfe. Die Funktionalität der kleinen Klinge mit Wellenschliff und leider auch deren Schärfe ist aus meiner Sicht eher gering. Hier hätte ein Dosenöffner einen deutlichen Mehrwert.
Nichts desto trotz hat mir das Tool schon so manchen wertvollen Dienst erwiesen!
