H1
H1 is one of the few blade steel types that truly deserve to be called "stainless" – and not just in a colloquial way. Widely used by Spyderco in their SALT series. Despite its hardness of 57-58 HRC, it holds up well to salt water. Cuts very well and is particularly effective in combination with a serrated edge.
